Relatives of patients with rheumatoid arthritis needed to help PREVeNT RA!

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is characterised by joint swelling and stiffness. The Manchester Musculoskeletal Biomedical Research Unit want to study people who are close blood relatives of someone with rheumatoid arthritis, but do not have the disease themselves, in order to identify risk factors for developing RA and find ways to PREVeNT it.

If you have a parent, brother or sister, or child with rheumatoid arthritis but do not have RA yourself, please get in touch! You will be asked to complete a questionnaire and donate a blood sample.
